eNews Information and Subscription

eNews is an email program that the Avon Local Schools utilizes to send out a variety of information, from principal newsletters to important events taking place in our schools. The superintendent, each building's principal and the athletic director have their own email lists that you can subscribe to if you wish to receive information from them. When you subscribe simply check the box for the list that you would like to join and then type your first and last name and your email address and click the subscribe button. You will notice that the "Administrative eNews" is checked by default. We recommend you leave it checked so that you will always receive messages from the Superintendent that pertain to everyone. eNews is not used as an immediate notification of urgent events as it takes time for these emails to be delivered due to the large number of subscribers. Avon Local Schools utilizes a different program called SchoolConnects for more urgent information such as school closings and school safety situations.

How do I stop receiving eNews emails?

How do I stop receiving eNews emails?

The Avon School District eNews system is the best way to keep informed about what's happening in the District. In our continuing effort to comply with Federal CAN-SPAM act laws, each and every eNews email contains a link, in the footer of the email, to unsubscribe. The link says "If you no longer wish to receive emails for this eNews list, click here to unsubscribe."

Clicking that link will immediately remove you from that eNews list.

Please keep in mind that you will need to unsubscribe individually (using this same method) from each eNews email list you no longer wish to receive.
