All 7th and 8th Grade girls basketball players need to report quickly to Coach Cable's room 139 to pick up a banquet flyer.  Again, this is for all Girls basketball players to report to Coach Cable's room at this time.
Reminder: Today is a PrimeTime Day,  and we are following the PrimeTime bell schedule. Mrs. Schnaufer's primetime group needs to report to room 119, Miss Henry's room, for PrimeTime today.
Attention Winter Sports Club members.  Make sure you have checked the bus assignment list in the commons so you know what bus you are riding today.
Attention 6th Grade Jazz Band Students:  Just a reminder, there is no Jazz Band this week.

The 7th Grade Girls Gold Basketball Team was back at it last night with a strong win against North Ridgeville! The whole team stepped up and played their hearts out. Emma Yanasak lead the wolf pack with aggressive defense! Gold plays for the Championship on Thursday evening at 5:00 at Avon. Come cheer on the mighty eagles!
The 7th Grade Girls Purple Basketball Team came away with a thrilling victory yesterday in the semifinals against Amherst by a score of 28 to 26.  Avon trailed 26 to 20 with four minutes left in the game, but with a shutdown defense, the girls scored the last eight points to win the game! Congratulations girls and good luck tomorrow in the finals against Westlake.

The Scholastic Art Awards program is the largest annual art competition in the country. This year over 1,700 works were entered from Lorain, Erie, and Huron counties. A huge congratulations go out to the following AMS students who are being recognized in this year's show:

Congrats to our Avon Middle School Wrestling team as they place 4th at this weekend's Norwalk Tournament. Placers included: Chase Heasley 4th place, Riley Atkins 3rd place, Adam Schumacher 6th place, Mason Fitch 1st place, Ryan Bingham 1st place, Angel Bauzo 2nd place and Josh Sublett 2nd place. Great job guys, good luck next weekend at the Conference tournament!!
The 7th Grade Girls Gold Basketball Team won a tough fight against North Ridgeville on Saturday morning. Wolfpack winners of the game were Kristie Clements and Lily Cianciolo! 7th Gold plays in the next round of the tournament on Tuesday at 4:30 at Avon. Good luck girls!!
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Purple Basketball Team for winning their first round tournament game on Saturday against Midview.  Your Eagles fought through injuries and foul trouble to hold on by a score of 40 to 31. It was a total team effort to pull out the victory.  Please wish them luck as they take on Amherst tomorrow in the tournament semifinals.
