Send in a check made out to Avon Board of Education or cash with your child. Put his/her name and teacher’s name on the envelope or use the on-line web portal at www.myschoolaccount.com.

Enclose that information in the envelope with your payment and the information will be input into the computer.

{slide=What if my child was not scanned? How does he/she purchase lunch?|grey}

He/She can be looked up by their name.

Cash can be used or you may send in money to be put in their account to be used to purchase milk.

{slide=How will I know when my child’s account is low?|grey}

You will need to create an account through www.myschoolaccount.com and choose the feature “Receive low balance account notification.” An email will be generated when the designated amount is reached. This is done nightly so please make sure the amount designated will give you time to replenish the account. Monies deposited same day is not available until the following day.

Anything pertinent to your child’s needs. (i.e. allergies, if snacks can/cannot be purchased and how much they can spend.

No. Each student has their own ID number and it cannot be accessed without their finger being scanned or their name being looked up as well as a picture match.

{slide=What are the prices of lunch this year?|grey}

Elementary lunch is $2.75 and secondary is $3.25. Adult, visitor, and staff will pay $4.00. Milk is $0.50.

{slide=What if my child participates in the free or reduced lunch program?|grey}

All meals are available to all students. We strongly recommend that your child be scanned to help reduce any overt identification of his/her status. Ala carte is a separate purchase.
