Kent Zeman, has been the Treasurer for Avon Local Schools since January 1, 2005.  Before joining Avon Local Schools, Kent served as the Treasurer/CFO for the Clearview Local Schools and the Olmsted Falls City Schools.  Prior to entering the profession in the school finance area, Kent was an Internal Auditor for Charter One Bank, F.S.B.

His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a Major in Accounting from Cleveland State University.  Kent is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials Leadership Academy.

As the secretary to the board of education, Kent is responsible for the financial reporting and monitoring of the District Funds.  He is actively involved in the business areas of the district as well; including transportation, food service, technology, and capital improvements.

Kent lives in Avon with his wife and four children and is also an Avon Local Schools graduate.
