Registration Information

If you have a child that will five on or before August 1, please call our office  the hours of 9:00-1:00 to schedule an appointment time. You will need to bring the following documents: birth certificate, social security card, immunization record, two proofs of residency, and any court ordered custody papers.

Kindergarten Information for the Upcoming 2010-11 School Year

Actual class lists will be posted on the rear door on August 20th.  Please watch your mailbox for a packet that will include our handbook, emergency cards, materials fees, and other pertinent information.  On August 26th and 27th we will be doing Aimsweb and KRA-L testing on all of our incoming students.  Attendance for testing is mandatory. 

By now you should have received information regarding the date and time you are to bring your child to school on either Thursday, August 26th or Friday, August 27th.  If you have not received the information please contact the school. 

Parents are responsible to bring their children to school for their 1/2 hour testing on either Thursday, August 26th or Friday, August 27th as there is no transportation provided on those days. 

Actual school for kindergarten students with transportation provided by the district does not start until Monday, August 30th.

Latchkey

Latchkey for kindergarten students will be held at Village School this year.  For further information, please look at the latchkey departmen on this site or contact, Mrs. Jody Booker, Latchkey supervisor @ 937-9660.

School supplies

You will not need to purchase basic school supplies for your child. However, each teacher will have a class specific list and you will be asked to purchase items for the classroom like tissues, handi wipes, etc.
