The AMS Morning News items are announced at school and then are posted on our website for several school days. The news items reflect events, activities, general information, and news items about Avon Middle School and Avon Local Schools. Results of and information about interscholastic athletics are communicated to the AMS Main Office by the respective sports team coach(es). Sporting events results are then announcedat school and posted via The AMS Morning News.

Attention all students using elevator fobs:  Your elevator fob needs to be turned in once you are finished using it today, again, as soon as you do not need to use the elevator please turn your fob into Mrs. Minotti in the Main Office.
For those going on Cedar Point Sneak this Saturday, June 8:
  • Check the posted lists to make sure your name is there along with having a pass or needing a ticket. Also check who your staff chaperone is  and what bus you ride.
  • Be in the AMS Commons at 7:35 a.m. on Saturday morning.
  • Bring at least $25.00 in spending money for meals and bring your CP pass if you have one.
  • Do not wear flip-flops or sandals, but wear athletic shoes/sneakers.
  • Dress for the weather, which will be in the mid-70s during the afternoon but cooler in the morning and evening.
  • Bring and wear sunscreen.
  • Remember that you are responsible for all your personal belongings.
  • Directions for the day will be given to you Saturday morning before we leave for Cedar Point.
  • If your parents plan to pick you up early from the trip, you need to see Dr. K. today for a special form.
  • Parents need to be at AMS by 10:15 p.m. to pick you up Saturday night.
