All-State Band and Orchestra
Avon High School is excited to announce another successful showing from our students in the Regional Scholastic Art Show. In total, 55 works were accepted with eight Gold Keys (highest honor), 12 Silver Keys, and 35 honorable mentions earned.
Now in its 56th year in the Lorain County region, the show takes place in the Beth K. Stocker Gallery at the Stocker Arts Center on the campus of Lorain County Community College, 1005 N. Abbe Road, Elyria, and is sponsored by Nordson Corporation. The exhibit draws from public, parochial, and private middle and high schools from Lorain, Erie, and Huron counties. Over 1,600 works are entered annually and 550 were selected for exhibition. All Gold Key works move forward for national judging in New York City.
In addition to the honors listed above, AHS senior Bella Keller is an American Vision Award winner! The top 5 Gold Keys in the entire exhibit earn the American Vision Award. Huge honor! Congrats!
